Digital Learning Initiative
What is the Digital Learning Initiative?
The Digital Learning Initiative (DLI) brings to UC Berkeley expertise in digital pedagogy, content, and learning analytics. By empowering faculty in the creation and analysis of digital content for learning and teaching, the Digital Learning Initiative answers the call of the campus strategic plan to make greater use of technology as a tool to expand access and improve the quality and relevance of instruction. As part of this initiative, Berkeley Digital Learning Services (DLS, formerly BRCOE) is now offering a Digital Learning Innovation Grant. The grants will provide support to faculty interested in implementing digital learning activities and content in their in-person course curriculum. Grant awards are in the form of time and talent from digital learning and digital media experts at DLS, who will assist faculty with their pedagogical, design and production needs.
